The Sixth Annual Michael Burns Memorial Golf Outing will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Scranton Municipal Golf Course beginning at 7:30 am. The Michael Burns Fund will be holding a planning meeting on Friday, April 11 at the Eynon VFW. The meeting is open to the public and will begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Volunteers and supporters are welcome to attend.

Congratulations to the Miller/Thompson duo who crawled their way out of the Loser's Bracket to defeat the very stout O'Malley/Magnot combo and win the Jameson Trophy in the 2013 Michael Burns Memorial Shuffleboard Tournament. Many thanks to all of those who participated in and supported this event! 100% of the proceeds go toward the Michael Burns Memorial Scholarship, benefiting a Valley View Student attending Penn State. In 2014, we expect to award a $4,000 scholarship as well as benefit many other causes. We can only do this through the generous support of our community.
