UPDATE: there has been a great bit of interest in this little guy; there are several really good prospects and I will send your information to the rescue handling the adoption. I will just be sending the request up to today since I’m sure there is the perfect family in that group. Thank you to everyone that responded. He is in a foster home in WV if interested I can get you in touch with the rescue. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is only about 10 lbs.

Taz needs help. His owner just passed away and no family wants him. We have no info on him as far as a age vetting etc. Irwin Pa.

Just wondering if your pet has an emergency and you live near Washington County where do you go. PVSEC and Medvet have 8 hour wait so if you have an emergency how is that an Emergency Vet. Plus you are paying top dollars. My friend just went and it was 8 hour wait and $4,000 to amputate a portion of her dogs tail that was injured in a door. Thankfully she found another vet the next day did the surgery for $1,000.

Here I am again with mom at the hair salon just ate 2 treats so maybe not so bad going everywhere with her.

COOKIE is praying for a dog savvy owner and a furever home in 2021. COOKIE is a 2 year old, average size, Border Collie mix who arrived at Angel Ridge with som...e trauma. She was pulled from a flooded area during a hurricane in FL. COOKIE was then put on a plane and brought to our shelter. COOKIE shut down and started to bark aggressively at strangers associating new people with her terrifying experience. COOKIE has been in foster care for quite a while and fortunately feels much better. COOKIE is housebroken, knows countless commands including "say your prayers", and walks well on a leash. COOKIE is so loving and intelligent but still has trouble meeting new people. Her ideal adopter would live in a rural setting where she wouldn't encounter new people too often. She should be an "only" pet in an adult household. Her adopter will need to meet COOKIE several times and work with Angel Ridge volunteers during her transition to a permanent home. Second Transport of supplies My Chevy Traverse is filled to the brim with tons of blankets, leashes harnesses collars,some cat and dog food and treats and a cage for ferrets or rabbits or whatever ltl animal that gets lucky enough to be saved by these ladies. Another bag of toys too. Mila and I are off to Morgantown to meet transport tomorrow. Thank you to everyone that has donated to help the rural rescues down in Appalachia hoping we can do it again next year for them.

Lara is ready to start her search to find a forever home. This beautiful girl had a litter of puppies. Her former owner gave all of the puppies away when they w...ere two weeks old, leaving her with only her disabled baby Lacey. She has done a remarkable job helping and protecting her baby. It is time for Lara to enjoy her life and for Lacey to work on her rehab. She loves toys and playing but her favorite thing is just to be loved. Lara will be a faithful loving companion! See more
