I could write a novel about this wedding and the emotional roller coaster it put me on. It wasn't until this wedding did I realize how far I have come in photog...raphy world in the past 13 years. Not realizing all of the connections until the ceremony was about to start, I looked across the crowd and realized the the parents of the bride and a groom of some of my first weddings were sitting there. Along with some of my first senior sessions. There were multiple people that I have photographed for years and have been able to watch their family grow. I cried and I mean kind of ugly cried watching a Great Grandfather dance with his great granddaughter (thinking of my Grandparents) then laughed hysterically along with everyone dancing (I forgot how this group loved to dance). I loved that Michi Miller and Brian Matthew had their dog Bruce part of their day. At almost any given time Brian would yell for Bruce and he would come running. Everything about their day was magical and I am so incredibly happy they picked The Stone Barn Farm as their venue. Every year Shane and Kim seem to add something new or an upgrade to this venue. Totally in love with the new bridal suite and the beautiful lighting! Between the trees, the buildings, rustic barn, tall grass and beautiful sunsets there are always endless options for photographs.
