We so miss live theater. We miss being able to provide opportunities for artists. We miss gathering with friends, family, and our community. We miss watching actors and other theater artists practice their craft and grow and to share their gifts with audiences and the community. We are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of all of our collaborators, volunteers, audiences, and the wider community, but boy, do we miss this. Be in touch. Let us know what are your hopes and visions for the future, both soon and father down the road? What would you like to see theater do now? Do you enjoy the online/virtual options that theater provides, and if so, what do you want tot see in these virtual spaces?

#WeMakeEvents #RedAlertRESTART and #ExtendPUA represent a major call to action on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. The aim is to implore Congress to pass the RESTART Act (S.3814) as quickly as possible, giving economic relief to the Live Events Industry, which has been shuttered since March 2020, putting millions of people out of work. The movement also supports ExtendPUA.org in their efforts to extend Pandemic Unemployment Assistance to provide relief to those without work due to COVID-19. This is an issue in Montgomery and Chester counties, throughout Pennsylvania, and across the nation. Indeed, the live events industry and its workers globally are suffering in the face of this pandemic. RED ALERT. https://youtu.be/92ptuZOZ55Y

Did you know there is so much great theater to stream online even though we can't get together? Today, TwaV asks you to join us in watching the The Wilma Theater production of Kill Move Paradise by James Ijames -- a contribution of any size to stream the play will support Black Lives Matter Philly. Until 6/21 -- but we are watching and contributing this weekend.
