From our friends at Power Street Theatre: Grassroots arts and culture organizations throughout Philadelphia are calling upon YOU to show your support, share your story, and amplify the value of art by participating in a Digital Rally for Philly Arts on Tuesday, February 9th and Wednesday, February 10th, 2021!
As we reflect on 2020, we celebrate in what we accomplished together. We presented The Agitators. Although this beautiful show had to close early, we are still in awe of the production team who brought it to our stage. We shifted our education programs to a virtual platform. Our incredible teaching artists made it possible to take our drama camps and clubs online. We launched Horizon at Home. Staying connected to you throughout this year is what kept our spirits high. Tha...nks to everyone for tuning in each week to your favorite shows. We shared our space with our friends from The Willow School. Providing our space as a Center for Online Learning allowed Norristown students to have minimal disruption in their education. We opened Art Houses. Bringing you the first installment of our new virtual performance series was one of our favorite moments of this year. Thank you. Nothing would be possible without your support and belief in us. Cheers to a new year, & everything on the horizon...

OMG I was teaching my bilingual public speaking class for ACLAMO Family Centers and Theatre Horizon when one of the students wrote in the chat "Ms. can I say so...mething?" I am like of course. She was like "WE WON! Joe Biden is president!" YOOOO I literally started crying because it was my first day back at teaching and we literally spent the class taking about HOPE and the future they wish to see and live in. It was the best way to receive this news. A moment that will live with me forever! <3 See more
