Not often do we have a wedding midweek but it seemed the same as any other Saturday here at Barn Appétit. They were blessed with a beautiful day! Congratulations Tyler & Julia

Off with the old and on with the new. We've made some improvements over the last year and thought I would share those with you all. In Nov last year we removed the sliding barn doors and track system and replaced them with new ones. We incorporated access doors with windows on both sides of the siding doors. We engineered the swinging access doors to open flush with the bottom of the sliding doors so there wouldn't be a board to step over which is common on most barn doors. W...e tried to build the barn doors more "air tight" than our last ones (as good as barn doors can get). This is more desirable during those cold windy days. During our "quarantine" time this spring we had more time to do projects and improvements since our weddings were postponed. -We had a section of roof replaced. -We had cement landings made at each access door which adds a smooth transition into the barn. -We painted the outside of the barn doors and stained the inside. -We gave a facelift to the old loading dock in front of the barn. I can thank 2 of our grooms for helping accomplish this task. Thanks to Derek for cutting out the metal letters and thanks to Vincent for the beautiful stone work he did! See more

Yesterday we said goodbye to a special member of Barn Appetit. Toby was known as the farm security officer and greeting committee. He was also the official golf cart passenger. He loved interacting with people and enjoyed getting all the attention! Thanks for everyone that made him feel special! He will be missed!

First wedding of the season this past weekend! It was the perfect day for it with wonderful weather! The newest feature this year for Barn Appetit is the addition of walnut wood chiavari chairs. They add a nice touch of elegance to the barn without taking away from the rustic beauty.
