Mountain lion down for Austin in Utah! The conditions were tough for us all week with no snow fall, making it very difficult to find tracks and locate these cougars. Finally, on day 7 of our trip the conditions were perfect and the dogs were able to get on fresh tracks at first light. At 3:30pm, after hours of trailing this mountain lion, it finally offered us a shot on a steep cliff where Austin was able to punch his tag with a rifle!
