Big day for us today! Our kitchen is set up enough to begin offering hot cooked meals to kids. Here’s to the first of many hot meals being served to teens in North East. To support what we do, visit www.thedoorkids.com

So thankful today! The Door took a major step forward with help from a few people who sacrificed their time to lend a skillful hand. New bathroom installed, some electrical work done, and the last drywall installed in one of the rooms.

That right there is 51 completed stamp books with extras that couldn’t fit. This equals over $1,000 in grocery rewards. Thank you to all who have donated these little things over the last year. Though they are small, they amount to much when gathered together!

So thankful to have running water in our kitchen. It is a huge blessing to have people who are willing to drop what they are doing and spend a few days to accomplish what we couldn’t do ourselves.
