The Fence Drive In

Hi, Fence Family! This is the last week we are going to be open during the week. Open this week Mon - Fri 4:00 to 8:30 and Sat and Sun 11:00 to 8:30. After this weekend we will only to open Fri 4:00 to 8:30 and Sat and Sun 11:00 to 8:30. I know it’s crazy to say, but as of right now it is looking like our last day for the season will be Sept 27th. Due to the overwhelming support from all of you this season as well as shortage in product due to COVID, we aren’t able to stay open as late as other seasons. If that changes at all you all will be the first to know. It’s been a great season so far - THANK YOU for your love and support!

We’ve got some good news to brighten those Monday blues! Our staff has been crushing it getting ready to open and we are ahead of schedule! We will be opening this Wednesday July 1st at 11am! Big thank you to them for pulling this off. A few updates on what’s different then Normal 1. At this time we are not opening the dining room. 2. We will be limiting the number of phone in orders we take to make sure we can handle all customers as efficiently as we can. 3. We’ve move...d a few tables into the grass by the fence to allow for social distancing. We ask that you please do not move the tables to accommodate large parties. 4. Trays, Ketchup bottles, salt & pepper shakers as always will be wiped down with a sanitizing solution. If individual packets are more your speed, they will be available. 5. Letting you all know up front...Some staff may be wearing masks and some will not. Here is a quote from the guidance for businesses in the restaurant industry. An employee does not need to wear a mask if it impedes their vision, if they have a medical condition, or if it would create an unsafe condition in which to operate equipment or execute a task. That unsafe condition could be the heat and humidity. We will recommend but it will be up to them wether they feel safe doing so or not. We really want to ask for your patience and kindness for our staff. They are so excited to see you! Each and every one of us have loved ones we care about deeply. We will be thinking about them with every order we place and will be doing so as safely and politely as possible! Edit: Now opening Wednesday 7/1/20 Open 11-9 daily. Hello everyone! We are very excited to announce that we will be opening for the season on Friday, July 3rd! Just a few more weeks until we can all enjoy our summertime favorites. Thank you all very much for your patience. Our staff is excited to see and serve you all again soon! Hello, Fence Family and Friends, We miss you all so much and it's breaking our hearts not to be open. Unfortunately, our season will continue to remain on hold until regulations have eased up. This decision was not made in haste nor was it made alone. We love and respect our employees and care so much about their physical health and also their mental health. Not all of you will agree with this decision and we get that. We are sorry for not being here for all of your spring tr...aditions...especially to all of you Moms on your special day tomorrow. This virus has put communities, families and friends at odds. We need to come together and understand that we are all in this as one. Please be kind, be respectful, and do your best to help those around you in need. If you could please share on and off FB for us that would be very much appreciated. How is everyone holding up? Today was the day we had anticipated opening up. Reality is, at this point we don’t know when we will be opening for the season. We know this is not what you all wanted to hear. This is tough for everyone including all of our employees that were so anxious for opening. In the mean time, support our local establishments that are weathering the storm. There will be some tough times for folks for months...don’t be afraid to go that extra mile to help... those around you. Much love to all and we will get through this together. Edit: Why don’t you open for takeout? We would not be doing our part in social distancing by having 100’s of cars a day mixing with the 60+ employees we would need. From food prep all the way through the process of delivering to your vehicle there are so many reasons why we will not be doing takeout. Sorry, we hope you understand. See more
