If you are a renter in York County and your income has been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, help is available to keep you and your family in your home. Th...e Rent Relief Program, administered by the Pennsylvania Housing & Finance Agency, along with Community Progress Council, can provide up to $750 per month in rental assistance to eligible tenants. The deadline to apply is now less than three weeks away! AFTER CARE HOUSING OPENING SOON (there are only a couple spots open) First Come, First Served. Apply Now! For a young adult to be accepted into our After Care program (coming out of foster care), there’s 3 qualifications: 1.) We’re not checking credit, but they must be employed for 30+ days, show paystubs, sign a lease and be willing/able to pay rent for their space.... 2.) They cant have an aggressive background and generally be able to reside well with others. 3.) Have a want and a desire to learn the life skills needed to become a productive, successful adult. We offer basic life skills classes through our training center such as cooking, grocery shopping and meal prep, proper cleaning techniques/laundry and prep, banking/budgeting and other financial literacy classes such as; acquiring life/health insurance, credit building and/or repair, purchasing a home. We help them job search or help with resume building, light vehicle maintenance, and more! To apply or have questions, email us: [email protected]
