Today we feature our newest vendor, Give Yourself Props We recently spoke with owner Jessica on what inspired her to start her business and the services her company provides for your special day! 1. What made you get into renting props and being a part of the party planning/wedding industry? ... I see people spending so much money on throw away items or something they will never use again. They will have to store or try to sell something that is most likely a once and done item. I wanted to offer just not the big stuff to rent but also the little stuff that people need to make an event stand out. 2. How has the pandemic affected your business? In what creative ways have you made this time work for you? I just started my Business in March of 2020 and a couple days after COVID hit. It was devastating! I just kept working on building my inventory and researching trends until things pick up again. I also work a full time job so the impact was not as great as most. 3. Do you have a favorite event or memory working in the industry? My first rental will always be my favorite and most memorable. 4. What are the best ways clients can get in touch with you? We caught up with one of our preferred vendors, DJ Connor Staskel of "Engagement Sounds," here's what he had to say 1) What made you get into DJ’ing for weddings? ... I've always had a passion for public speaking, music, and entertaining crowds of people. I've begun DJ-ing at the age of only 15. 2) Do you have a favorite memory as a wedding DJ? I love making guests happy by playing the music they love and most importantly always providing a worry-free, memorable experience for the newlyweds. 3) What has it been like as a vendor in the wedding industry during the pandemic? Have you done many micro-weddings? Due to COVID, quite a few of my weddings were simply postponed to 2021, and the remaining 15 fall weddings were still able to take place because they were located in barns, outdoor tents, etc. If a client books with my company and needs to possibly reschedule, there are no fees to do so. They simply check availability before confirming their new date, and I'll gladly switch them to the new date at no additional charge. 4) What are the best ways to get in touch with you? Today, we are featuring The Main Gallery at the Walk In Art Center, Schuylkill County's premiere wedding venue. Formerly a shoe factory, the facility is now an award winning venue boasting historical charm combined with modern accents. The Main Gallery has 5,790 square feet, tables and seating for 240 guests, accent lighting and our facility has free parking that is also handicap accessible.... We have a full size bar and prep kitchen, both with plentiful storage. We provide the space, tables and chairs, you provide the rest to make your dream wedding happen! We also have a preferred vendors list which we give to clients that book with us. We have hosted ceremonies along with the reception, or you are free to just have your memorable reception here. Holiday Market is in full (Covid safe) swing!! Happening now until 4pm at 220 Parkway, Schuylkill Haven!

We are getting ready for our Holiday Market! Happening today from 10am-4pm! Come see our trees, shop from our vendors and visit our artists in their studios! Free admission, masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines are in place.

AHHH! 2020 hits again! Due to the impending rain, our Holiday Market is now going to be back INDOORS in our Main Gallery. It's going to be a beautiful event with out Festival of Trees, Holiday Shopping at the Market and in Studio Row, an Online Holiday Auction, in-person Chinese raffle, hot chocolate, boilo, cheese, OH MY! Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10am-4 pm. Masks are required and capacity is monitors following state mandates. Please maintain social distancing at all times.
