On the flipside, giving yourself permission to indulge in something actually makes it easier to walk away from it. Yep, that old reverse psychology really works!... By giving yourself permission to eat food and setting realistic expectations around social events, you can feel the pressure lift off your shoulders. In fact, the lack of restriction around enjoying a treat can actually kickstart your motivation! Just ask WAG Member Kristina, I've counted macros for a long time so I understood the process and so it was easier for me to incorporate into my life. The flexible dieting approach works really well for me and I believe it's a much more maintainable way to go in the long run.
