People recall strolling down Braddock Ave. to view the display on the revolving platform behind the enormous curved glass window. Kids knew the holidays were here when the displays went up. The original revolving platform was discovered duri...ng the renovation of The Ohringer and is being returned to its former glory. This sight on Braddock Ave was a welcome reminder of the window decorations at the Ohringer Home Furniture store. People still comment about childhood memories of the Christmas decorations in the windows, and how they knew it was truly the holiday season when they appeared.
