#tbt Back in 1982 #ThePlastekGroup had its' very first Plastek Industries graduated Apprentice. 38 years later, Mr. Tom S. is still working with us today at Plastek TTD. Over the past 3 decades, we are proud to support and contribute to 4 yr Tooling Apprenticeships and 3 yr Mold Tech Training Programs that have filled our shops with added value and great skill. Since 2006 alone, there has been more than 30 + program graduations in our Plastek US divisions. This week, we'd li...ke to recognize some of the recent graduates and current employees active and successful within their apprenticeships. #NAW2020 Over the past 50+ years Plastek has developed a Pennsylvania certified apprentice program to fulfill a need to train and employ local talent within the plastics tool building arena. This four (4) year program is certified by the State of Pennsylvania and after completing the 8000-hour accredited program the individual is awarded a Pennsylvania Journeyman Card. Plastek also has other internal programs for Processors, Tool Repair and Machine Mechanics. All classes are from the local technical school and some required tools are paid for by Plastek. https://www.apprenticeship.gov/national-apprenticeship-week http://www.plastekgroup.com/social-compliance/ #PlatsekHR #plastekemployees #FutureSmart #PlastekTestimonials #training #toolmaking #manufacturing #plastics #injectionmolding #engineering #processtechnician #personaldevelopment #apprenticeships
