As much of you have probably heard over and over again, many businesses are temporarily ordered to close due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. Unfortunately that also includes us here at The Point! ATTENTION: All lash artists are NOT equal.! The first picture is of a client that came to me for the first time for a fill, and this is what I found. As you can see there is a cluster of three extensions attached to about 5 natural lashes! A couple problems with this 1 As the natural lashes continue to grow out at different speeds, they will start to pull on each other and damage the surrounding lashes 2 When lashes are left pulled from the base they will still be g...lued to the extensions leaving dead lashes attached 3 When you try to isolate the natural lashes and fill over work like this it makes it very hard because you cannot separate the lashes or get to the new growth, so for me that means to remove any work like this, and for others could mean continuing to build glue and extensions on top of mistakes like this Clusters of lashes randomly placed like this can be used to create a fuller look quicker and in less time but your natural lashes will suffer! The following two pictures are of me and how I do my work always! The first is of me properly isolating a natural lash and the second is of the SINGLE extension placed on the lash just as lash extensions were intended to be done!
