All Philly...All Day!!! The folks at South Fellini are doing great things during the COVID-19 pandemic! Thank you for supporting The SEWcial Café by donating fabric and elastic for mask donations to local hospitals, non-profits, and rehab centers and also for hiring me to manufacture your masks for the Sew Face Masks Philadelphia initiative. Shop www.southfellini.com #SmallBusinessesSupportingSmallBusinesses #Mask4All #SEWcialMask Repost from @southfellini ... When the COVID-19 crisis began, face masks and medical grade ppe were in short supply. I ended up volunteering with SewFaceMasksPhilly.com; helping get materials to volunteers who were sewing face masks for healthcare professionals and those who are the most vulnerable among us. It’s made me hyper aware of how much good we can do just by wearing a mask. If everyone covers up, the rate of infections will drop precipitously. Masks Make the Difference! So, South Fellini has commissioned a limited edition of face masks from local tailors at The SEWcial Café. Retro prints on light weight cotton made for a comfortable summer fit. Proceeds from sales will be donated to SewFaceMasksPhilly.com; a non profit group which provides free masks to healthcare professionals and those in need. @ The SEWcial Café

@livingikhan (this picture)3 years ago, at the age of 15, she was taking sewing and pattern making classes to perfect making clothes for herself and her family. Today, she is building her brand and I couldn't be more proud of her progress! #livingikhan #ikhan

Hello!!! I'm working with Mask On! PHILLY to spread awareness about the need for masks in the inner city and to get free masks to those who need assistance in the Philadelphia community. I will be showing sewists how to use industrial sewing machines, virtually, and also how to construct face masks. Mask On! PHILLY will be providing a large workspace for sewists to work. Each work station is 7ft apart and will be sanitized after every use. Sewists can use the space to make t...heir masks to sell but must agree to donate an agreed-upon amount of masks to the community. Fabric and notions for donated masks will be provided. If you would like to donate masks to this initiative but would rather work from home, that is perfectly fine. Please comment below if you are interested in participating and would like to learn more. Thank you!
