Doing the thing on Sunday
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5D-b0TYIzhs Here was my Sunday.
This season is the start of something infinitely special. We have all been trapped indoors for over a year, starved for the emotional connection of live events ...like music, theater, and performance art. As performers and as consumers of live event performance art ourselves we know we are starved to create as well. So this season Sanctuary owner Jon Trosky decided on a new format to keep our performances family budget friendly with the insanely low ticket price of $5 per seat per show or a $50 season pass for access to all of our currently announced shows, as well as a few special surprises coming along the way! The price for a family of four to enjoy an afternoon of stunt fighting action is only $20. That's less than a large popcorn at a movie theater. We have an exciting slate of events already announced for this season including stunt fight shows on Sundays, FREE First Friday Full Contact Variety Show nights, and we have more stunt fight shows, concerts, theatrical performances, and more to be announced soon. We aren't getting rich on this. In fact, the Sanctuary spends more money on venue and production improvements than we could make even selling 100 tickets at each of our events. It takes a community of passionate people who care about their art to make this happen and The Sanctuary provides a place for us to create. Your $5 ticket or your $50 season pass membership not only helps us pay the monthly upkeep of the building and the equipment, but also allows us to invest into more technology to continually evolve your Sanctuary experience. We do this because we love it. Come on out and support performance art. UPCOMING SUNDAY DATES: 6/27, 7/11, 7/25, 8/15, 8/29, 9/12, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24 SPECIAL EVENT DATES: 6/25 - ACES WILD (The Ace Austin Show) UPCOMING FIRST FRIDAY DATES: 7/2 (GREAT AMERICAN GAMESHOW), 8/6 (SUMMER BLOCK PARTY), 9/3 (STARSHIP SANCTUARY), 10/1 (MURDER MYSTERY) Other event dates are currently in the works and will be announced very soon! Stay tuned and come enjoy the shows!
As we gearshift into fight day tomorrow, we'd like to preemptively thank our team of hardworking in ring, ring side, and narrating artist partners. Many of thes...e fine folks will be already exhausted from busy weekends of covering exciting in ring performances and we are so blessed and appreciative for each of you. Not enough love is given to The Crew! Ring Announcer: David Adams Play-by-Play: Peter DeLonge Color Commentary: Anthony Blackwell Ringside Photography: Pinhat Photo & Paige Watchey Photography Video Production: Jon Trosky, Tom Kupres, David Dominguez, Yodi Lights: DJ Lumen And to the many, many volunteers who help keep this show rolling ... thank you. Let's get to work!

So I hit my personal goal raised in the first few days. I'd really like to see if I can reach my next one before orders go out. If you want to buy an 8x10 print... of my Brodie Lee drawing they are $10 with all money going to the Huber family. Send me your payment via PayPal to [email protected] with your name and address in the notes. Thank you everyone who's bought one so far to help a great man's amazing family. See more
There's a prowrestlingtee sale or something. So prowrestlingtees.com/theshawncalvin
This is because I managed him twice back in 2018.
2021 is coming and the state is gonna reopen. Why not bring in a fresh face? What you get when you book me A competent wrestler ... Someone who will listen I'll help set up the ring, take it down, grab chairs and help set up. A face you can trust with your show. A promo without cussing A Young Man who just wants to be better and learn.
My 2021 to do list for Wrestling 1. Work a fucking show
My 2020 in #wrestling pictures. Thanks to #covid_19 I only worked four shows. The good news is though I loved all of them because I was back to working with Kit Raff. Not only am I always in awe at just how fucking good Kit is, but I also consider him a close friend so it's an honor to second him. For the first time in a long time I actually enjoyed Independent Wrestling. I can't wait for the world to get back to normal (or normalish) so that I can get back out there with Kit and watch him kick some more dudes in the head.
One time I was dragged out of Back Breakers Training Center in hand cuffs by security. I cursed and screamed the entire way out. I'm pretty sure one of them was Rex Taylor's brother and he punched me. Anyways I did eventually get away and ran through Scranton shoeless and screaming. So if Donnie needs any advice on what to do in January tell him to hit up @theshawncalvin on Twitter.
Kit Raff would absolutely ruin the lives of so many people in this kind of environment.
Let's start a boy band
Back in 2019 I had more votes for manager of the year than any other coach in Professional Wrestling.
Keep laying pipe
I actually won Manager of the year in 2019. I demand a recount.
