A few thoughts from me, a hairdresser: I can wait to get back to the salon!! I am and always have been very grateful for the dedication and loyalty of my clients. It is truly so humbling. When we return, we will be stronger than ever! Sadly, the other part of this is that a lot of hairdressers are nervous to return. We need to cut our number of clients to a quarter of what we were doing before. Sometimes I could have up to 4 clients at a time. I was able to take care of ever...yone and take care of my children, all while paying the bills. Now we still have the same bills, the same children, and not enough income. All while dressing up like a NASA Astronaut and expected to do the same quality haircuts with our gloves on. Dont forget about wondering if we will get the virus. The regulations are intense.It is going to be a tough transition. Many salons have closed! Please pray for us. It is our clients that give us the confidence to step back into a world that is totally different from what we have known. We can and will get through this.
