Santa Claus is Coming to Town...In a Different Way this year. When: Saturday December 12, 2020 Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the recent surge in cases, Santa will practice CDC Guidelines and social distancing recommendations. Santa will begin his route this year beginning at 9:00 AM. This is one hour earlier than previous years. Therefore, Santa will be arriving on your street roughly an hour earlier than in previous years. So that folks do not gather around Santa, we will... be asking our reindeer to keep the sleigh moving through the neighborhoods. Please listen for the sound of the Fire Trucks on your street and prepare for Santa to arrive. This will be a strange year for all of us, as the normal pictures with Santa can not be done with social distancing requirements. Santa wants to be safe, but still see all the boys and girls throughout the Township and give a token of appreciation to our families in the Township. You can go onto our website at uscvfd.com and click on Santa Visits Upper St Clair 2020 in the navigation. There you can find Santa’s route, along with estimated times of arrival. Santa and his elves will break for lunch at different times this year as well. Please bear with us as we work through these different times together. Stay safe, wear a mask, and wash your hands as we practice social distancing.

Congratulations to four of our members on achieving Fire Fighter 1 certification. This will allow these members to move off probationary firefighter status and get voted in as Active firefighters. Congratulations to these four members for their patience receiving this Certification in a Pandemic year.

Santa made time for our members on Sunday. We usually hold our family Christmas party for our kids the day after the Township wide candy passout. With the pandemic this year we had to cancel, so we changed it up and santa visited our kids at our members homes this year and gave them a gift. Merry Christmas to our USC Firefighters and families. Hope 2021 returns to normal.

Proud of this black badge on my helmet. It has taken a lot of training hours (19 months) but I would certainly recommend it.
