The VBC Food Pantry

Due to the coronavirus we will now have seperate pantry days and/or times. On Tuesday, January 26 we will have Pantry Day for our registered members from 2:00pm - 5:30pm. Pantry Members are registered with the VBC Food Pantry. At the present time our new registrations will not occur until Feb. 2021. You can only belong to one pantry and you must reside in Mercer County, PA. You must present current PA ID and offer proof of residency. Due to the circumstances beyond o...ur control we will have emergency bags by set times. For emergency food please call the church 724 3471045 leave a message with your name and telephone number asking for pantry someone will return you call on week days within 24 hrs unless it's a holiday or weekend. For all questions or concerns leave a message for the pantry manager and you will receive a return call. Please note the pantry is run by volunteers. PLEASE NOTE THIS PANTRY IS FOR REGISTERED MEMBERS ONLY. WE WILL HAVE A FOOD GIVEAWAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS FOR THOSE IN NEED WHO DO NOT BELONG TO A PANTRY The VBC Food Pantry will have our Christmas Pantry and end of the year giveaway FOR our registered members on Tuesday, December 8 from 1:30-6:30. You may only pick up your own groceries or contact the manager prior to pantry day for further assistance. You must have current photo id. This pantry will be held indoors in our l...ower level inside Tatum Hall. Entrance will be using the church staircase across from our garage. We are practicing social distancing with mandatory masks to be worn. We also will only have four members in the pantry picking up at a time. You must carry and load in your car your own groceries. We do have our shopping carts to assist you. We are handicap accessible please let the staff know so your use an alternative entrance. We will offer emergency food assistance at a later date in the month for families in need of holiday food who do not belong to another pantry and are residents of Mercer County. Thank you. See more

The VBC Food Pantry will be accepting new signups for membership in Jan 2021. We will have emergency bags available when possible on designated days.
