So, this happened today. Suddenly, Gov. Wolf is concerned about his constituents' well-being so he threatens to fine and jail them - unless you're selling beer.... This is legislation and governance by panic, fear, and social pressure. Now, he is asking business owners to shutter their businesses (small as they may be) as long as they have a physical location. However, he gives no indication of the duration nor does he outline one iota of how he plans to help small businesses bridge the gap. I get it. This is a serious illness for some people, but at some point people are responsible for taking care of themselves. My life depends daily on the difference of my hands on the steering wheel being within 10 degrees of the right position and, somehow, I manage. This here is genuine BS cloaked in genuine concern. The Wolf is trying so hard to don a sheep's cloak. See more
