This has been an amazing week! I am humbled to be named the Daily Point of Light Award Recipient #6292 by the Points of Light Foundation for my service through ...my non-profit Think First America! Created by the administration of President George H. W. Bush, the Daily Point of Light Award honors individuals and groups creating meaningful change in communities across America. Each weekday, one volunteer or volunteer effort is recognized with the Daily Point of Light Award. I have been able to implement several education programs and publish a children’s book. Is this real life?!?! Last night my dreams turned into a reality!!! I am Miss Pennsylvania 2018!!!! Follow my year at Miss Pennsylvania Kayla Repasky

It’s hard to believe that tonight a new Miss Pennsylvania will be crowned. From my philanthropy with my non-profit Think First America and raising $16,000 to fight bullying, to impacting all five of Pennsylvania’s CMNH hospitals and meeting the Doll and Fortino families, this year has forever changed my life and taught me so much about life, perseverance and humility. I’m grateful for my journey to get to this point. I want to thank everyone that has played a role in helping me reach this moment in my life. Your love and support means everything to me. I've heard it said that people come into our lives, for a reason bring something we must learn and we are lead to those who help us most to grow, if we let them and we help them in return. Well I dont know if I believe that's true but I know i'm who I am today because I knew you.
