Our volunteer profile for Miss Cookie continues, as she has more valuable insight: I love people, I get to meet all different nationalities here. I love that I get to work with people fresh out of jail to let them know that they are loved-- that you can always begin again. We like to let them know that they are heard...word gets around that we have an ear to hear them and to help them out the best we can, so it’s known in the community that we’re here for them.
