Some Before and After on the Madison Suite. This little room packs some punch because that is one beautiful bathroom! And it is visitable for those with mobility issues, as well. Just four people. Imperfect like me. All of last week they stayed here, doing the mundane things you do each day, but in their everyday activity, I witnessed small miracles. She came to visit her son’s family, but could not leave her husband, who suffers with early Alzheimer’s, at home alone. Nor could she make the trip up here without help, so they came with them. One did all the driving, the other sits with him so she can spend time with her son. Amongst the three ladies,... there is laughter, some bickering, even occasional anger and tears. Aging and Alzheimer’s are hard, traveling together is hard. But the moments of sacrifice and service I saw them give to one another were nothing short of sacred. During one of the nights he was here, he had a fall and was afraid to walk the next day. They lovingly and patiently worked with him all of the next day until he felt confident again. After a difficult day, one took her out sightseeing while the other stayed here and read with him and sat nearby while he napped so that she could go out and know he was well cared for. I will be forever changed by what I was fortunate enough to have a small part in last week, and grateful that having this place gave me that incredible experience. #alzheimers #threedaughtersinn #bedandbreakfast #pottstownpa #pottstown #ipickpottstown #service See more

Some Jillian Suite Before and After. The third floor had a cedar closet we didn’t want, and once it was gone, it left a good sized sitting area up at the top of the stairs.
