IT’S GO TIME!!!! The U.S. Olympic Trials kick off today with the Men’s Shot Put!! There are a total of 10 Throws U athletes and 2 alumni competing in Eugene over the next week chasing the dream of competing at the Olympics for @teamusa . When @brady_throws43 52’5 for a 2 foot PR at the PA State Championships to place 5th as a Freshman!!! Here’s back to when @ajbailor hit a 2 foot PR on the last throw of his High School career to place 3rd at the PA State Championships!! This was a massive capstone to a huge senior year. AJ started training with us last summer, had just recently switched to the spin, and needed to transition his impressive Power Lifting background into the speed and mobility needed to toss the shot put. He executed every detail, improving his mobility and honing in on the technical details of the spin. A 7 foot improvement in one year and a scholarship to Monmouth University are proof of the work he put in.
