When I was a little kid I absolutely loved going to the sweet shop! Wellwho am I kidding I still get a thrill picking out all the sweeties.

When my Mom was a young girl she was in a school play at this theater. She was an anemone flower. Every time we would pass this place she would tell me that story. Lovely memories.

Today marks the anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation, which took place in Westminster Abbey in 1953. The Queen wore the Imperial State Crown to leave the Abbey.... Although closely based on the design of Queen Victoria’s crown, this version has only been worn by two people. It was created in 1937 for The Queen’s father, King George VI. Oh my heavens! Where do I begin to thank all the wonderful guests who came out to support us today. Your kindness, support and patience were superb.we sold out of everything!! I am truly humbled by the love I felt today. I took a moment to look out the front door and the line was almost to Main Street. My heart was swelling with pride and love. We will survive! Please stay safe til this virus ends. Take sometime to talk with your family,call an old friend, read a good book, binge The Crown ,read old love letters, take a stroll,,,just breath. And of course have a big cuppa by your side! Merry Christmas and thank you all from the bottom of my little heart.
