Folks, there are bears here. This is not news. Please do everything you can to stay away from them and help to avoid attracting them. If you see one please DO NOT approach it. *Update* we thought we found the owners, but it wasn’t their pup... said something about being a hunting dog... so please please please keep sharing and hopefully we will find this guy’s family! No collar. Found this poor little guy eating a dead deer on the side of road by Ives Run. He's a little snippy... Barely got him in our patrol car. Please share this so we can find his owners

*Missing Person Found* Last night at approximately 22:39 Tioga PD was dispatched to Eden LN in Tioga Township for a reported missing adult. Around 23:40 Tioga PD declared the individual missing due to reported altered mental status.Tioga and Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Companies were dispatched to assist Tioga PD with searching the nearby woods with UTVs. At 03:38 the individual was found safe in Middlebury Township walking, still in an altered mental state. Tioga PD would like to thank the great response from Station 7/8 and the Army Corps with assisting in the search.
