For all our buyers, Piglets will be ready for their new homes the end of this month.

So I did some number crunching. I know some people dont have the room to feed a pig out and would like to know where their pork is coming from. I can feed out a pig for 180 days. that should put the pig at roughly 300lbs. That breaks down to $1.16 a lb, $350 per pig. That includes buying the piglet at 8 weeks, 180 days of feed at 5lbs per day plus daily pasture and all of my labor involved. I would require a 50% deposit(non refundable) and payment in full at 180 days. I would also deliver the pig to the butcher of your choice within 20 miles(over 20 I would charge a delivery fee. All butcher fees and processing would be between you and the butcher. Price could vary slightly due to commodity fluctuations (feed prices).

We still have several piglets available. We will be weaning the end of March and then they'll be ready for new homes.

We got bacon seeds that will be ready in 8 weeks. It's been a trying farrowing season. Cold weather took its toll on our success rate. I've marked a few gilts and a possible 2nd boar to add to our herd. So if your looking to feed a pig out for the fall give us a shout. We also have the option of feeding out your pig, you buy the pig, buy the feed and I'll do the work. When the pig is ready for butcher we'll deliver it to the butcher of your choice.

Since this virus deal we have been busy....piglets are getting castrated this weekend, garden was planted (2nd time) this past Sunday, grasses for the pigs is looking good, over seeded some of the pasture and were waiting for LaTisha to have her litter. Need a few more chickens, turkeys and ducks so we will be able to start selling eggs. Pasture fence is still a work in progress. We will be adding another sow or 2 to the sounder. We are also starting to add whole and half hogs to our sales. We take payments thru square. Thanks to all the new/ potential customers for looking to us to fill their pork needs.
