Taking a stroll down memory lane from a 4-County parade circa late 1970's.

I want to give a shout out to Ray Henry of ESI EQUIPMENT. Ray took valuable time away from his family on this Sunday to deliver our new disinfecting system. We disinfected all of our apparatus and garage areas of both stations. We are working diligently to keep our members and the public safe during this covid-19 event. As always I appreciate our members support along with the support of our community.... Stay safe and healthy and more importantly stay home if you have no reason to travel. A huge thank you to Insurrection Distillery in Lehighton for supplying us with sanitizer for our members safety. We will be using it in the high touch areas of our apparatus and offices.

Social Distancing is the best alternative we as a community can employ to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, (COVID-19). To deprive a virus a host is not... dissimilar from depriving fire oxygen. If the virus can no longer spread, it will die off. Just as a fire will go out once the factors which cause fire are eliminated. This thing doesn't have to get worse, and our way of life will return to normal with patience, cooperation, and following the directives of our governmental officials. Remember, not all information is accurate, and the internet is a vector for the conveyance of a lot of misinformation. Don't spread panic and fear. Spread kindness and understanding.

We are closing our building to the public, but staff will be available during normal business hours by phone and email. As always, our dropbox is available to the right of our entrance.
