Even though our 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19, many of our sponsors were gracious enough to contribute their sponsorships to two wonderful nonprofit organizations striving to make a difference in our community. Friends, we are cancelling our 4th annual Touch a Truck event due to COVID-19. Keeping our community and event participants safe is our top priority. We hope you'll join us at next year's event on April 24, 2021.

In honor of today being autism awareness day, we wanted to mention that The Center for Autism provides so many services and resources to our community members on the spectrum. Autism awareness is important to our event organizers too and why we will again offer a one-hour quiet time during our Touch a Truck event on June 27.

In light of Gov. Tom Wolf's COVID-19 announcement today that social distancing measures should be extended through April 30, we, unfortunately must postpone our Touch a Truck event. ***Please mark your calendars for our 4th annual event on June 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We look forward to seeing our community come together for another great event with plenty of trucks for kids of all ages to explore! In the meantime, please stay home and stay safe!

Our friends at The Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation are holding a virtual 5K run/1 mile walk to raise funds for a new wheelchair lift for 24-year-old Keyana. In this age of social distancing, this is the perfect way to get some exercise and support a great cause. You can participate from anywhere, anytime through March 22 (Sunday). Donations can be made to the Foundation directly, or you can contribute $20 for adults, $10 for kids. The goal is to purchase the lift by ...April 1.
