UPDATE: We made it to green! All you beautiful clients of TracyJo’s Hair, you have faced some trying times over the past five years at TracyJo’s. Thank You! I have missed you all so much. I am confident you will be back looking and feeling your best very soon We are proud to announce that we are back up and running. We apologize for the late post; however, navigating the proper procedures is challenging. As you all know, TracyJo would rather have a delay in opening gui...delines than improper opening guidelines. I completed two sanitation courses in Barbicide, Proper sanitation guidelines for human coronavirus (Covid19). If you see some differences in TracyJo’s opening requirements versus another salon, neither salon is doing improper opening procedures. However, TracyJo’s may vary because of incorporating recommendations that TracyJo’s Adult Day Center is following. Masks must be worn inside the salon unless you have a medical condition that prohibits you from wearing one. Temperatures check before entering the salon. Health questions - i.e., any coughing, fevers, sore throat, in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid19 or exposed to COVID-19? It is necessary at this point to schedule time in between customers for sanitation. So we are unable to perform back to back services at this time. Please call the salon 814-676-0801 when parked in the parking lot to see if we are ready for your appointment if we are not ready for you just yet, please remain in your car or at a social distance from each other. We will call you when we are ready. One customer at a time is allowed in the salon. Some exceptions can be modified, so; please let me know when scheduling if we need to implement accommodations. We understand some customers have caregivers that need to be with the individual at all times. We are striving to get everyone in as soon as possible and follow the CDC recommended guidelines. To show dedication to everyone, even though we are highlh trained in sanitation as part of our schooling and testing through the State to pass boards to be licensed throught the State- I took a few steps added steps and took the BARBICIDE online sanitation course for the COVID-19.

We finally got to the green phase and can open the 29th. Please be patient some more as we need to learn our new guidelines to reopen and keep all of you safe. I will be contacting customers soon with appointment dates and times to get starting next week. Just as soon Tracy Jo and I get all the new guidelines. Thanks for your patience and can not wait to see you all again.

It is sad to say that in the yellow phase of opening up, they are keeping hair salons, spa’s, gyms and such closed. So we will not be opening up on the 8th. We are sorry to hear this as much as you all are. I miss all of my fabulous customers and am anxiously awaiting to see you all again. I will keep you all posted! Sincerely, Sharon

Stopping by to say hello to everyone and let you all know I am still thinking about each and everyone of you. Being shut down is making me stir crazy as I know you all are anxious about wanting your hair done. I will be so glad to hear the Governor say we can open back up again. And I will keep precautionary measures as always to continue to keep everyone safe. I have everyone written down to call for when we can open and I will work with all of you to get you in. We use Barbicide to put our combs in and I often use it as cleaner as well. This is good to know, and I am letting our great customers know this as well.

I am stopping by to let all the fabulous customers know that I miss you all and that I am keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers. UPDATE. In respect for our clients and everyone we are closing down for the week, and see how things transpire throughout this week. We will decide over the weekend sometime if we can open back the week of 23rd or stay closed for the full two weeks. I will keep everyone posted. Please everyone stay safe. Thanks for your understanding an loyalty. As of right now; things are up in air for the salon staying open. I personally have no problem staying open for all of you. For; you are our heart of the business and we appreciate you all. We are trying to decide on what to do legally. I will keep everyone posted. This whole crisis is knew to everyone. Please be patient with us.

During this time of the Coronavirus, Tracy Jo’s is still open. Thankfully being the small salon we are there is only 2 people in the salon at a time sometimes 3. I am doing every precaution there is to clean and make everyone safe. Unless we are made to shut down by the government we will be staying open. Thank you all for your support. Prayers that everyone stays safe and that this ends sooner than later.
