Forgot to post---Bill and Sharon were at shop in the past week. Had a show and tell. Bill is loving to quilt on their avante. He is an artist and makes neat designs!!!! Keep it up!!!

Barb and Shirley completed their first "show me your block" they got 2 more to do in the next 2 weeks.....we decided to do 2 blocks at a time. Will get the sampler quilt made sooner. Having fun sewing blocks....

Time to do another block of the month quilt. This photo is using batiks, also sewing one with blender fabric. This time you help to choose fabric-- not cutting kits, like i have done in past. Come to shop to see the quilt and join. 1st classes are jan 28 and 30. But can buy pattern and sew some at home. Pattern is "Luminous"

Beth took the longarm class today and quilted this small quilt this afternoon. Nice design she chose to free motion. She has lots of tops that need quilted now...

Jane and her daughter came to shop with show and tell that jane made for her daughter. Like the dresden block and batik colors she chose. Nice yo yo in center of block......nice gift to give...

Rose brought this fall leaf quilt yesterday to show. She developed the pattern and sewed together. Really nice design. Next she wants to learn to quilt...

Dawn has her block of the month quilt sewed together. Really looks good!!!! Will be posting as they are finished. Most are finishing their last block and sewing blocks together Time to start another block of the month. And want to do Mystery quilt Lets get those started in January!!! Julie made the scarecrow & i did the pumpkin and snowman. These are fun to do. Neat patterns using the 2 inch squares on fusible grid. Happy Hollow Designs. Have a lot of neat patterns to try.

Was an honor to give 3 quilts to 3 veterans this evening. They served in vietnam, iraq, and world war II. Their branch of service was army, navy, and marine corp. We thanked them for their service. We sew in the shop the 1st sat of each month, making these quilts. Welcome anyone that wants to join us. Our group is Patriotic Piecemakers of Pa, with the Quilts of Valor Foundation.

Look at this queen size quilt, quilted for carolyn. Made with lots of jelly rolls. Nice gift for her to give. Like it!!!

Here is yesterdays block of month group. The whirlwind block is the last block for this quilt. Now need to sew all the blocks together with sashing strips. Been a good year doing this quilt, even though there has been some interruptions with virus... anyone needing missing blocks, come to the shop to get and can schedule a time to sew...
