Friends and Families- We are excited to formally introduce Project Forget-Me-Not In Titusville, PA. There are 135 people in nursing and personal care facilities, they are unable to have visitors in this difficult time, so we would like to remind them that they are loved, missed and remembered. We will be sending cards, letters and artwork to cheer them, please use one of our drop-boxes to send your envelope of well wishes. When we gather 135 cards, we will hand-deliver ...the cards to the homes. And then we will start on another delivery, we will continue to do this as long as this lasts and will most likely continue beyond this health crisis. This is a great way to clean out that stationery drawer of random notecards, a way to be creative with art supplies, or a small package of notecards can be purchased for a dollar at the dollar stores or slightly more at Walmart or other grocery stores with a greeting card aisle. Any thinking of you or blank card will do nicely, you can add scriptures, positive quotes, poems, lyrics, or just a hello from a friend!! Save postage and brighten someone’s day! These cards will go to random residents. Please use hygienic practices when handling your cards and envelopes, don’t lick them, but rather use stickers or tape or a glue stick to close them up. Drop-off locations are at First Presbyterian, Warner’s Bakery and The Barking Lot-use their mail slot. Look for the purple bucket at other locations. We will let you know when we make our first delivery!! I’m so excited! Please encourage friends and family to help us in our project, or if they live out of the area, have them start their own Project! See more
