It's an emotional day for me. A little over 3 hours ago I dispatched the last taxi for Handy Delivery. Noreen and Jim Byers purchased the cab company in 1981 an...d have operated the company 24 hours a day 365 days a year until 11:47 pm, 31 January, 2021. The last passenger was our driver Robert Vander Vort's mother. I have been working for Handy Delivery since 1989, and will continue to work here in other capacities. Our delivery (truck), courier (small parcel), warehousing, parking, and storage unit services will remain open 24/7/365. See more

WE have cleared up the issue with AT&T subscribers not able to call our Main Phone Number. If you still run into an issue our older numbers still work: 814-353-6000 - 814-353-6001 and 814-353-6003, and please let us know of the issue.

Reminder, we are still running, and we do require face masks on our drivers and passengers. The awesome people from State College Mask Makers just set us up with 36 masks to give away to passengers that need one. Just ask your driver BEFORE you get in the car.

Our driver Tracy picked up this passenger on Cricklewood Dr. at about 11:05 pm on Monday night. Female Pit Bull, no collar, super sweet, pretty scared. Let’s help her find her humans. She will be at the office with me learning to dispatch until my shift ends at 6:00am, hopefully I’ll figure out what to do by then.

Quite a dawn sky over our self storage units this morning.

There will be some temporary road closures on Thursday afternoon and of course super bad traffic jams after the fireworks.
