Any time I walk with Pneuma, she walks ahead of me on the path and periodically stops, turns around to see that I am still following. She won’t start walking again until I follow. As below so it is above!

Many of us are unhappy with the present political environment. Each party believes they know what is needed. And that is the problem... division. Can we who cal...l ourselves Christians, pray for each other rather than judging? When the election is over, my neighbors, friends, family and coworkers will still be there. United we stand, divided we fall. Let’s unite on this front: Love stands by and is not differentiated into parties. Love is about relationships and peoplealways! See more

The strength of any painful resentment we feel toward others has nothing to do with any troubling character we may judge in them; rather (it is) born of an unse...en weakness in us that believes others have the power to either give - or take - something from us that we need to be at peace with ourselves. Longing for peaceful days? We won’t find it in the world. We won’t find it in people, places or things. The world I complain about is the projection of a mill...ion anxieties, fears, angers and frustrations, some of them my own and your own . I am not wasting one more moment trying to fix the world. I will address myself. If I garner peace and calm within, I can project that into the spaces I live and move. Let’s stop blaming the world . Demanding the world to change for my happiness is self-centered. Did I ever consider that what makes me happy can make the next person sad? Have I stopped a moment, just a small moment, to consider how I want things to be might oppose how others want it to be? I may hate what you like. You may hate what I like. This is the source of all misery, pressing others to agree with me, or not to disagree. It’s not about me. It’s about us. Could we simply decide who we want to be and own the consequencesgood or bad? Contentment is gained when I stop insisting others board my ship and better yet, when I sink that ship. Perhaps then I will become quiet ripples that spread out in every direction. See more
In these days of short fuses and readiness to take offense, let’s remember that God’s love still holds the universe together. Acceptance and practicing that love in every day interactions is called faith. Can we practice love today?
What a great first service! We had such a great team who worked tirelessly over the last several months to make this happen. Thank you to all of you who came out to support including all those from Grace to Grace Erie! Looking forward to what God will do through us in the Erie area.
So much fear in every shape and form. So little peace...how often we tend our fears. We think the world, the political environment, the virus is the problem. T...he problems aren’t out there. What we are seeing is an image of our own hearts, our own angst, our own anger and fear. Sow peace within and the without will follow suit. Try itpractice peace, calm and trust within. Move into your inner heart, the secret place of the Most High(Psalms91). His arms aren’t shortened that He cannot save or His ears that He cannot hear. In recovery circles they say pain is inevitable, misery optional. Tribulation In this world is inevitablebut fear is optional. I love this quote. We have been taught to be afraid of pain and no one who is afraid of pain will be free from it. Guy Finley See more
Do people realize that Gov. Wolf could put counties back in the red reopening phase? Most local family owned stores closed again but big box stores selling t...he same things open, schools on line only, a completely overwhelmed unemployment system, restaurants closed to inside dining, no construction, no car dealerships open, liquor stores allowed curb side service but no other stores allowed to do that, all state permits and licenses delayed, interstate highway rest areas closed to long haul truckers, no real estate sales allowed, no sports, most government offices closed, inconsistent rules on businesses getting waivers to stay open, PA Lottery sales allowed but volunteer fire department club ticket sales banned, stay at home orders, etc. Remember that? Democrats in the House back Wolf on everything above. They are all up for re-election. Democrats who back Wolf’s executive orders are also running against many incumbent Republicans in the House. Democrats in row offices like Attorney General, State Treasurer and Auditor General back Wolf on everything above. They are all up for re-election. They all have Republican opponents. Republicans in the House have been fighting to save our economy, save our schools, and protect our Constitutional rights while balancing keeping people safe and letting them live their lives. There is an election about four weeks from now. People should pay close attention to who they are voting for. On Election Day are you voting to give Wolf allies to expand his ability to govern by executive order?
