Last week we had the pleasure of hosting 10 of our friends and colleagues from Guatemala here in PA to receive their COVID vaccines. Thank you to all who made this possible, the joy and relief felt by each of our travelers was overwhelming! A special thanks to Tree of Life, United Lutheran Seminary, Trinity Camp Hill and Linglestown Life for hosting our groups for meals!

Our first ever #HopeHighlight is Erin! She is an English teacher for grades 2-5. Erin says that Hope Academy is special to her because she gets to work with girls who wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to study. She loves that she is a part of a team that not only advocates for these girls but also offers them a good, bi-lingual, STEAM education that will provide them with opportunities to find jobs that they like and fulfill their dreams.

Thank you to our food sponsors for providing funds for continued distribution of emergency food staples to our village families during the pandemic. Most families we serve are still out of work as a direct result of Covid. We have also been providing extra food for the orphanage during this time. Yesterday, we were also able to give a Valentine's Day treat (a BIG chocolate cookie) to all of the children we sponsor. If you would like to sponsor food for a child through this vital program, please send us a PM and we will help to get you set up.
