Today we decorated our Key Partners Realty TreeFest tree not in our usual Red, Black and Silver, but in Pink, Teal and a bit of Green. The colors are to raise... awareness of Metastatic Breast Cancer to honor our Partner and Colleague, Kathy L. Lowe who passed away on 10/8/20. May she Rest In Peace! See more
Thanks to Christine Fuller, Elder for Community Life, for coordinating this wonderful First Presbyterian Church tree for the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble TreeFes...t 2020 event. She and others decorated the tree today. The theme we have chosen is "Christmas Lights and Rainbows." The lights and candles represent our being a More Light congregation which welcomes all of God’s children to worship and fellowship. The rainbows represent God’s promises to all of God’s children and shows our welcome to the LBGTQA folks among us. The gifts under the tree show how we put our actions beside our thoughts and prayers for those in need. See more

ARTISTS' CALL FOR ENTRIES Downtown Bloomsburg, Inc. will put up a fifteen-foot holiday tree in front of the New Bloomsburg Diner this holiday season, and it nee...ds a topper: DBI seeks an appropriate custom-made tree-topper and seeks proposals from regional artists. We would like something interesting and beautiful; beyond that, we leave it up to you. We have a budget of $250, and the chosen artwork will get used for years and years: Your artwork can become part of a Bloomsburg tradition, so you must work in permanent materials. For the size of the tree, the topper should measure 18-24" tall and have an easy means to mount it to the trunk (a weather-proof pipe or dowel two feet long). The topper does not need to have built-in lighting (but we will accept designs that do). Please e-mail your design, in jpgs or pdfs, to [email protected] and [email protected], with a deadline of Monday, November 2nd. We will let you know if we have chosen your design by Friday, the 6th, and we will need the finished work by Monday, November 30th, with payment after delivery. We look forward to your designs!
TreeFest is looking for decorators! Covid-19 has created obstacles for many of our long time decorators. We are committed to providing 80 decorated trees to are...a families in need this holiday season but are currently 40 decorators short! Please consider creating your own special tree decorations to adorn one of the 80 trees ... if you don't want to decorate it yourself, one of our volunteers will take your decorations and vision and make it come to life! Go to treefest.org for more information on community decorators.
TreeFest 2020 community decorator and sponsor decorator registrations are OPEN! Go to treefest.org for more information on changes we have made to help ensure your safety related to COVID-19 AND for the link to the online registration. There will only be 80 trees to be decorated this year, so please register SOON!

Please enjoy these photos from TreeFest today, I wasn’t permitted to video as I had to endure photos without any identifiable people. I think I photographed every single one of them for people who may be housebound or living out of the area to peruse. Enjoy! Merry Christmas. Part 1 of 2
