We regret to inform you, again, that the Story Book Trail in the meadow was destroyed in the same manner as before- the book and most of the posts are gone, some posts bent at and tossed. This will be the last time we will be able to share a book in the meadow. Thank you all for your support. We would love to know how many read it. Registration is FULL for Saturday's hike. Last time at Bird Walks with Martin... "The bird walk went well. Seven people ended up showing up. We birded around the Tree House, the trees behind the newly planted orchard and then down to Harper's Meadow and then along Forbidden Drive and the trail back along the creek to Harper's Meadow. The warblers and vireos were seen either in the trees above the orchard or in a small flock feeding above the creek. They few and far between. T...he woodpeckers were scattered throughout. Looking forward to the Walk on the 10th.
