Trexler Nature Preserve - VMB has been informed by the PA Game Commission that the TNP North Range will be closed tomorrow, 5/13, for controlled burns. This includes Burn units #1 and #2 noted on the Game Commission Map. All gate will be closed and signed. This is a one day event. The North Range will be reopened on Friday, May 14th. I saw a litter of 4-5 Red Fox Pups running, playing and wrestling around their den while riding on Thursday, 5/7. The den is in the Elk pen beneath the huge cut-fallen Oak tree located about 50'-75' from the fence along the zoo exit road. Take your telephoto lens for better photographs. My iPhone camera didn’t cut it. Post your pictures if you see them!

Trexler Mountain Biking History I know many people love the trails at Trexler. Did you know it was 11 years ago this month that we broke ground (and autumn olive) out of the North Range parking lot and began building this trail system?
