A little preview of the 600D interior progress

I know this is going to be a love it or hate it car, but here is the latest update on the 600D Restomod. The exterior is done except headlights and the front badge. The interior reassembly is next.

The Fiat just got its final coat of clear. Next steps are reassembly and all of the finishing touches then it will be for sale.

Just finished the final wash down of the 600 before taping and real painting begin.

Door jambs being painted today. Pretty much the most tedious unsatisfying painting you can do. Hours of taping for minutes of spraying, but totally necessary for a complete restoration.

Today the Fiat got its final coat of primer and the trunk and the hood painted with Raptor liner. Next step is final scuff before base coat

I’ve waited to post this until I finished some final items, but the 66 is officially finished. I’ll post a video next week when I have time. It now has power ...brakes, rack and pinion steering, lowered coilover suspension front and rear, Bluetooth stereo, stainless exhaust, 18 wheels and a complete respray. See more

So.... I’m considering dropping the heart of this Kawasaki ZG1400 into this 1957 MGA. It would double the power to 160hp and add a 6 speed transmission. What are your thoughts?

The 66 is looking pretty amazing so far. Today it got base and clear. Next steps are a wet sand and block off the clear coat and final clear coat next week.
