Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and dad figures at our YMCA! Thank you for all you do to keep families and our community healthy and strong. Did you know that Father’s Day started at the Y? Over 110 years ago, a young woman raised by her single father wanted to celebrate fatherhood. The first Father’s Day celebration was held at the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910.

Thank you to all who joined us at Jim Dietrich Park on Friday for our Annual Corn Hole Tournament! Despite the weather, we had an absolute blast and hope you did, too! Please join us in congratulating again our winners, Team Frantz in 1st, Team Rodden in 2nd, and the Ivy Leaf Association in 3rd! We are pleased to announce that we were able to raise $11,776 through sponsorships, teams, and donations. All monies raised will benefit YMCA financial aid and programs and ensure t...hat the YMCA remains a safe place to play and that nobody is turned away due to an inability to pay. Thank you to all our sponsors, vendors, players, and committee members! This event was made possible thanks to you, and we couldn't imagine a better way to reunite after a year apart. If you have any photos from the event, please feel free to tag us! We'd love to see them!
