I LOVE to throw a big party! And right now....we’re in the thick of it.....planning and cooking and crossing things off the long list taped to the fridge! Spent the last two days cooking with my mother in law for our big graduation celebration next weekend! Years agomy in laws owned a bar in Arnold called Sam’s Tavern. People in these parts STILL talk about the sausage Poor Boys that Sam’s was known for. With just the right kick, you lay 3 of these thin sausages on a perfect bun, smothered in sauce with peppers and onions! Soooooo-Can you guess what’s the star dish of the party??

We call this little spot our Front-Front porch. Technically on the side of the house but I what firmly believe should have been the actual front porch and front dooryou knowthe side that faces the street! Tucked in and somewhat secluded by a few big lilacs and a mountain laurel, it’s my favorite spot to watch a thunderstorm roll in! Her mismatched vintage porch furniture makes me smile!
