Woken last night to a angry man effing and jeffing, kicking bins and shouting his mouth off. Probably a domestic or drug related disagreement. It got me thinkin...g however, how long will it be before the mob is outside our houses, kicking our doors in. This sissified Jesus of our 'enlightened' culture, who just loves everyone so so much that he wouldn't dare whisper an offensive word never mind strike this mob dead in their tracks, who is now on the defensive desperately trying to turn a terribly poor situation good while unable to deny the mob their murderous intentions, this Jesus will be of no help to us in that day. We need the Jesus of the Bible, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the reigning ruling King, who made a solemn promise never to leave or forsake His children and whether He reduces our enemies to dust or allows them to beat us to a pulp and take our family it is all ordained by His sovereign hand to bring glorify to His Son and do good to His people. We need to worship Jesus not some caricature that will disappear like the morning mist in the day of trouble and I don't mean when the mob is gathering but when we stand before the judgement seat of God.
