This Saturday, celebrate Juneteenth with us and some of our amazing partners @kingdom_boxing from 12-3 we will have snacks, games, raffles, music and it’ll be a great time to celebrate culture, history and family togetherDid you know: Juneteenth is an annual celebration of Black liberation. It honors the day that news of emancipation reached the last group of enslaved people in America on 6/19/1865. Juneteenth is considered a commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. However, not all enslaved people were freed instantly as it took two and a half years for the proclamation to reach Texas.
