The members of the Bradford Township VFD would like to announce a new fundraising giveaway that we are trying in hopes of having a weekly giveaway, with better odds of winning for our donors. This giveaway is completely online and will not require us to meet face to face with donors interested in our giveaways, or have to fill out tickets and mail them. This fundraiser is called a "Sure Tip Giveaway" and here is how it works. Giveaway 2021-1 This is a giveaway of a brand new Traeger Pro 22 Grill, a grill cover, and two bags of pellets. These items are worth $740.00 We are selling only 100 chances at this Traeger package and each ticket will be $15.00 each. You may add as many tickets to your cart in our store and you will be entered into the drawing that many times. Once all tickets have been sold the giveaway will automatically be pulled from our store to prevent overselling. Once all tickets are sold, within 24 hours, all names will be written onto the Sure Tip Card. Every year the Transfer Volunteer Fire Department teams up with the Reynolds VFW to transport Santa around the neighborhood to see all the little boys and girls on Christmas Eve. This year due to COVID, things will be a little different. We WILL still be bringing Santa around, however, in order to make it safe for everyone involved, Santa won’t be handing out gift bags. We know this is disappointing, but we want to keep everyone safe and healthy through the holidays. We’ll be picking Santa up and driving through the neighborhood starting at 5:00pm on Christmas Eve. We apologize for the change, but we’re doing what we feel is best for everyone. We hope that everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas!!!!

Today marks 7 years since the untimely death of Phillip Steele. Phil was a member of the Fire Department for over 35 years, 22 years he served as Chief. ATTENTION 31 DAYS OF TREATS 'LOSERS'.... At the beginning of October, we had a community member reach out to us that wanted to donate money towards our fundraiser in honor of her mother. Michelle Yeager donated (2) $100 'winner's choice' gift cards to the 'losers' of the 31 Days of Treats Raffle. So after the raffle was over, we pulled 2 names of people that did not win throughout the month of October. The donation was made in honor of her mother, Marianne Yeager.
