NJ BROTHERS CHARGED WITH RICHLAND TOWNSHIP HOMICIDE Bucks County authorities have identified the man whose body was found in a wooded area on East Pumping Station Rd., Richland Township. He has been identified as 26-year-old Kevin Rosero from Somerset, NJ. Two teen brothers, 17-year-old Joshua Gamble and 19-year-old Anthony Gamble - also from Somerset, NJ - have been charged with criminal homicide and other related charges. Joshua Gamble, 17, is being charged as an adult. Ot...her charges include criminal conspiracy, possession of an instrument of crime, and tampering with evidence. The investigation into this case began at 12:03AM Thursday when a PA state trooper spotted what he believed to be a disabled vehicle on the 500 block of East Pumping Station Rd, near Heller Road. The silver Subaru’s blinkers were flashing. A second car, and Audi with Florida registration, was parked a short distance away from the Subaru. Rosero’s body was discovered a short distance in the woods after the trooper noticed blood on the brothers and in the Audi. A large bloody knife was found on the passenger floor of the Audi. An initial investigation showed the victim sustained stab wounds on his head, neck, upper chest, and arm. According to Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub, the Gamble brothers have no apparent connection to Richland Township. Authorities believe the homicide occurred in Bucks County which gives Weintraub;s office jurisdiction in the case. This case is being investigated by Bucks County Detectives, Pennsylvania State Police and Richland Township Police and is assigned for prosecution to Deputy District Attorney Monica W. Furber and Deputy District Attorney Kristi Hoover.

2020 marks the 10th year of the Shop with a Cop program in Quakertown. Officer Bob Lee, the Quakertown Police department and officers from surrounding jurisdictions joined together with generous help from the community to make the holiday merry for local children and their families. Joining the Quakertown Police Department this year were officers from: Richland Township, Springfield Township, Dublin Borough, Pennsylvania State Police - Dublin Barracks, Hilltown Township, PA ...State Game Commission, Bedminster Township, Marlborough Township, Newtown Township, and Warwick Township. This SHOP WITH A COP is a national program pairing police officers with children to afford them a better Christmas. The program allows children to view police officers in a different atmosphere to promote positive relationships. This program is geared toward Quakertown School District children at the elementary levels. The children are faced with life challenges such as a parent losing a job, homelessness, military deployment, economic shortcomings, and other hardships. SHOP WITH A COP is funded through the generous donations of our own community, from private sponsors to local businesses. Each child is allotted a monetary gift card to purchase gifts for themselves and family members, allowing for a more enjoyable holiday. All participating police officers volunteer their own time to support the program.
