Despite the Covid-19 Pandemic I would say that we had a great 2020 at United Community Services for Working Families / YouthBuild. First and foremost starting in January 2020 we started out with 21 students then came Covid-19. UCS went virtual and 16 of those students received their GED, great team work from my staff. UCS also was able to help support several front line workers with cases of water and lunches. UCS held a free spaghetti dinner for the community and partnered w...ith a local church to donate a truck load of food also to our community. UCS Turkey giveaway went well thanks to community donors and Price Rite. UCS 1st annual toy drive was a success, UCS was able to give away 75 hams with potatoes and cans of string beans by doing that we were able to provide over 300 toys and 144 gift boxes to our community. As UCS looks forward to 2021 we will always put our community first. Thank you to my staff and all the community members who made 2020 a successful year. "One Team One Dream" See more
