Asking for prayers for our member and friend Lori Carter; she is in the hospital, initially for pneumonia and congestive heart failure, and on Thursday was also diagnosed with Covid. Following is a post she shared on her FB page last nite - Hello everyone thank you all for your prayers my friends and I are setting our alarms for midnight and at midnight we are all going to sing the doxology remembering Paul rejoicing even in prison and singing I am choosing to rejoice and be grateful for what I’m going through I am believing God will be doing something big! In working with the PA Department of Health, the Regional Epidemiologist, and our District Administration, we have been contacting several COVID-19 cases in our... school system. In the last 48 hours, the contact tracing of our school community has expanded to include a significant number of our High School Faculty. Thus, a significant number of High School Personnel are in need of quarantining due to direct exposure to positive / presumptuously COVID case(s). To be clear, this does not mean that any or all of our school faculty is COVID-19 positive at this time, rather it means that we are attempting to take immediate action to mitigate all individuals affected in order to remain proactive on any potential outbreak. Any child/ren that has been directly affected has been notified by either the District and/or PA DOH. In thoroughly analyzing all contact tracing data, it has been determined that the Jr/Sr High School is the main focus. Therefore, ONLY the Jr/Sr High School (Grades 7-12) will be transitioning to total cyber instruction and learning starting tomorrow Wednesday, November 4 until Friday, November 13, 2020. All traditional students will return to the school setting on Monday, November 16, 2020. All traditional Elementary Center Students (K-6) will remain in the school setting.
