Union City Full Gospel Church

Over the years, we have had many different types of services around Christmas. From plays, to birthday parties for Jesus, dinners, breakfasts and different aspects of celebrating that were all our best attempts at obediently following the Holy Spirit's lead. As much as I love traditions at home, I have always been determined to not allow tradition be our guide as a congregation. So today will be a gathering at 9:30 AM much like any other Sunday.... We will gather to encourage each other, worship our Lord and study the Word. We will do our best to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to get the very best of what God has to offer today! That is what we want every time, so I guess that is a tradition! Merry Christmas from the congregation of Union City Full Gospel Church!

An early closing of the college campus has me canceling our Wednesday night service this week, the 30th. It will be dangerous wind chills at the time we would start. God Bless and stay warm!

Because of the threat of the weather getting a lot worse after 6:00 PM, we are canceling service tonight. Stay safe and warm! Blessings!

Tonight at Union City Full Gospel Church, we are looking at the progress and setbacks of the children of Israel as examples of maturity and immaturity of a follower of Jesus. God's principles remain in effect under the new covenant. Just as they could not sow bad seed and reap good fruit, we are held to an even higher standard. We are also blessed by having the better position under the new and better covenant and access to intimacy with God through the maturation process.... When we act in mature ways, seeking godly correction and guidance with a heart of obedience, he is there for us. When we act in immature ways, being self-centered and not receiving godly correction or guidance with a rebellious heart, he lets us have our own way and the consequences we chose. Gal 6:7-9 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. KJV

As we get closer to the mid term elections, and we see the fight against a judge who strongly defends the Constitution, we must pray and fast for God to move in our nation.

Way to many times we have cancelled services this year. However the wisdom is saying stay home tonight and stay safe while you pray for those who were not going to make it tonight anyway! My biggest concern was that the winds are to pick up this evening and white outs would be possible. I love you all! I hate missing a time to gather together and worship!

I am looking forward to the next two services. Tonight we can gather to encourage each other and Sunday is our special Christmas gathering after our service. My good friends Dominic and Cathy Puglia will be with us! They will be ministering to us then fellow-shipping with our family!
