They were very professional & personable, cleaned everything they moved and very conscientious. Alex asked me every step of the way when there was a choice of placement for pipes, wires, units, thermostat & he came up with great ideas & solutions (I was very picky on how it looked.) Im really happy with how Alex and Juan set everything up, how they treated my h...ouse and how they treated me as the purchaser & decision maker. I'm entirely satisfied with our UIC experience, from the quote to the follow up to the install. Incredibly professional, prompt (if you get a few quotes you'll realize how rare that can be) and respectful of our home. We have an old Philly home that had 2 A/Cs retrofit with 1 air handler built into a wall and another hanging from the ceiling. The A/Cs were separate systems and controlled by separate thermostats. We had maybe 5 companies come through to give their perspective... and a quote. Almost everyone else gave roughly the same basic quote to just drop in new base units. Mike P at UIC started by looking at our house - how much air could move through the vents, listened to what we were looking for, and presented a vision of a unified A/C system with one (I think typically used for ductless) Mitsubishi heatpump outside that would be elevated feeding into two air handlers. Tearing out the old systems and putting in the new system took 3 days. Sam and Val were incredibly prompt, knowledgeable, constantly asking if we had questions and explaining what was happening. They laid out drop cloths and dry vac'd each day to leave our house in good shape amidst the construction. They found a way to get the system into the weird nooks and cranies in our house, and about a week later everything's been great!
